Hey there,
we are glad you are here and check out our very first episode of the new real estate podcast series sponsored by the UTA College of Business, Finance and Real Estate Department.
Each episode you’ll hear interviews from faculty, advisors, current students and alumni of our master’s in real estate program, as well as actionable tips and strategies that you can implement to navigate today’s real estate markets. In this series you will get introduced to Sriram Villupuram, program advisor of the MS Real Estate program and Dr. Andrew Hansz, real estate professor at UTA as well as SSRE's mission.
Sriram Villupuram is the Associate Professor of Real Estate and advisor of the MS Real Estate program at UTA since 2014. Before that he was a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Banking Supervision and Regulation division and associate professor at Colorado state university. Sriram is also called Dr. V by us students.
Dr. Andrew Hansz is the Gould/Mayfield Professor in Real Estate and Urban Development in the Department of Finance and Real Estate. He joined UTA in 1999 and he worked as a commercial real estate appraiser prior to pursuing his Ph.D. in Real Estate and joining UTA. He also holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
